I'm a senior in college. I plan on majoring in Biology, spinning that toward Pre-Med. Sciences aside, I enjoy the classics, primarily Greek, which I am minoring in. I picked up an intense love of Greek food from studying abroad in Greece a while back.

I'm an ex-football player, college and highschool (can't shake working out). I graduated from high school at the top of my class with multiple accolades in the sciences. I recently ended decade long scouting career after obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

I read like there is no tomorrow, and will turn off the TV and open a book more often than not. My musical tastes vary with my mood, crossing almost all borders at one time or another.

To the friends I have, I am diehard loyal. I strive to be optimistic, but I am a realist more often than not. I also wouldn't put it past me to say that I'm a bit stoic and cynic as well. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I can be quite the hopeless romantic.

I like the outdoors and nature although when outside I am always drawn to the water. My newest game in life is kayak fishing. I enjoy it so much that I got a second one in order to take others out on the water to fish or just joyride. I also hunt the locale creeks for sharks teeth and fossils.When I get out of town I will often stop my truck on the road and go looking for rocks and minerals. I would say most of them end up in my back yard,but every now and then when inspired to, I will cut them into something usefull. As far as paganism is concerned, I do not practice active spell-casting because I don't particularly like the idea of tampering with the natural course of life. I am polytheistic, in the sense that I believe divinity to be something we as humans cannot fully comprehend, but can connect to by meditating on or praying to multiple archetypes representing aspects of the divine. I also enjoy paganism's emphasis on the divine feminine in addition to the divine masculine. For me paganism is a philosophical journey and not a search for power or "magic" in the modern sense of the word. I live in Sherman, Texas. That is a small little town near Lake Texoma in case you haven't heard of it before. If that even helps you any at all either...lol. I have a good job in my family business (insurance, not exciting, but stable). First DateLet's face it, in this day and age there are a lot of weirdos out there. That's why I'm so honest in my profile, so you know what you're getting into, just imagine how many guys on here aren't. In my opinion, I think the standard and safe thing to do in reference to online dating is to email each other a few times, see if there is some reciprocating interest, then move to talking on the phone, if all goes well then dinner, some where public, to talk and get to know each other. I don't think this should take a year to do, but I am taken aback by women who I contact or contact me that want to meet the next day. I lost my long time spouse a while back and I have discovered that I cannot deal with the lonliness. How to put this.. well I'm a very honest and open guy about everything I say, do, think, and feel.
