The chicken fajita nachos are great and very filling. The service at lunch time very quick but you dont feel rushed... You can get in and out usually within 45 minutes.
Pros: fast, Inexpensive, tasty
Cons: crowded, noisy
 Decidedly not Mexican

The only thing here that is Mexican may be the salsa. The fajitas do not include rice or beans and almost all is a la carte. The fajitas were tough and the atmosphere boring. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food.

I love La Mesa. The food is great and the prices are great! The food quality is awesome and the complimentory chips and dip are definately good. The location is good and the atmosphere is wonderful. I really love La Mesa's food. The service is always fast and friendly. I love the Fajita Taco Salad, or the Fajitas. My husband loves the Enchilladas. They have all of your favorite Mexican dishes. La Mesa is one of the best Texomaland Mexican Resturants.
